Module 1: Quality Concepts and Tools
After this module, participants should be able to:
• define quality
• describe how quality activities have evolved over time
• distinguish between quality control and quality assurance
• apply systematic approach (PDCA) from data collection, problem identification, data analysis to problem rectification
• effectively solve problem by using the basic QC tools in their daily work
Module 2: Statistical Control and Cost of Quality
After this module, participants should be able to:
• understand the fundamental and application of Statistical Process Control charting
• construct control charts for variables data
• interpret the control chart patterns
• differentiate between the different types of costs
• identify and dollarize the visible and hidden costs
Module 3: Quality Management System
After this module, participants should be able to:
• understand the ISO high level structure and ISO 9001:2015
• understand the seven quality management principles
• understand the requirements of the standard
• know the requirements for documented information
Module 4: Risk Management
After this module, participants should be able to:
• understand how risk management affects decision-making
• conduct a risk analysis by developing a risk profile and using risk matrix
• identify risk/uncertainties to achieving a set of objectives and expected results
• decide how to act on the uncertainties within a structured framework
Module 5: Quality Compliances
After this module, participants should be able to:
• audit the requirements in ISO 9001:2015
• explain the roles and responsibilities of the auditor
• recognize the principles, practices and type of audits
• plan and conduct all phases of an internal audit
