In line with the fourth Sustainable Development Goal - Quality Education, the Centre for Modern Languages and in collaboration with the Centre for International Relations, UMP aspire to foster excellence in language and communication skills among UMP students. Therefore, this year UMP Language Carnival is initiated to strengthen the students' proficiency and knowledge of English and other foreign languages, which include Bahasa Melayu, German, Mandarin, Japanese, Arabic, Spanish and an introduction to Turkish. This year's LCC theme is Language Empowerment and Diversity for Global Competence & Sustainable Lifelong Goals."
